LONDON — Jack Grealish has been omitted from Everton's Premier League squad for their Monday night trip to Newcastle, missing a third consecutive game since joining the club on loan from Manchester City this summer.

The 31-year-old England international was dropped from Everton's Carabao Cup victory against Newcastle United last Thursday for disciplinary reasons after missing training without permission in the buildup. He was also absent from the previous Premier League game at Arsenal due to illness.

Everton traveled to St James' Park without Grealish, who has been left at Finch Farm training ground to work on his fitness. Manager David Moyes has yet to confirm when the forward will be considered for inclusion again.

Jarrad Branthwaite returns to the starting lineup after missing the past two matches due to concussion protocols, while Harrison Armstrong features in midfield. The Toffees' defense sees Jake O'Brien move to right-back with Jarrad Branthwaite partnering James Tarkowski in central defense.

Tyrique George and striker Thierno Barry complete the lineup as Everton look to continue their good form against Newcastle, having done well in recent encounters against the Magpies.

Moyes acknowledged the challenge of the trip to St James' Park, noting Newcastle have some really good players, but expressed confidence his side can continue the positive results against the Magpies.
