Adele Zaikman, a professional dancer on "Dancing With the Stars" Season 35, announced via Instagram Story that she is too ill to perform in the Disney Night broadcast Monday.

Zaikman, who was eliminated during the first week of competition, typically participates in the opening numbers and serves as a troupe dancer. In a message to followers, she said she is "sad to miss a show day" but will take time to recover.

"I’m sadly feeling unwell and won’t be performing in the opening number on Dancing With the Stars tomorrow," Zaikman shared. "I’m so sad to miss a show day, but I’ll be taking this time to take care of myself. Sending so much love to everyone on that ballroom floor. I’ll be cheering you on from home."

The November 2 episode is a special Disney Night airing on Monday instead of the usual Tuesday slot. The remaining eight couples will dance to songs from Disney’s Broadway shows, and two team freestyle dances will be performed with hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough each joining one team. At the end of the night, one more pair will be eliminated.

Zaikman and her celebrity partner Conner Leavitt are expected to return for the Season 35 finale on November 24.
