Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra is still months away from its official debut, but a new leak based on exclusive CAD files offers a closer look at what the flagship could resemble. A physical dummy unit built by Android Headlines reveals a redesigned camera bar that moves the cameras higher up on the back of the device. This change leaves more room for magnetic accessories, potentially making the Galaxy S27 Ultra more compatible with MagSafe-style chargers and battery packs — an improvement over the Galaxy S26 Ultra, where the large camera bump could interfere with accessory alignment and cause slower charging or excessive heat. The dummy unit retains the S Pen slot at the bottom, indicating Samsung will continue supporting the stylus. The phone's dimensions are reported to be 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, only slightly larger than the S26 Ultra's 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm. Rumors suggest Samsung could drop the 3x telephoto camera, leaving the S27 Ultra with a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera. The redesigned camera bar gives the device a look reminiscent of the iPhone 18 Pro, though Samsung is not the only Android manufacturer moving toward this design. One downside for existing Galaxy owners is that the redesigned camera arrangement will likely make Galaxy S26 Ultra cases incompatible with the new phone, as most will need to be replaced. The dummy unit also appears to sit more steadily on a flat surface than the S26 Ultra, though tapping the screen still causes some wobble, though the unit lacked the final phone's weight.
