Melissa Rycroft, former "Bachelor" contestant and "Dancing With the Stars" season 15 winner, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Texas on Sunday, marking her second DWI charge within the past year. According to Tarrant County Jail records, Rycroft was arrested by officers from the Southlake Police Department — the same agency that booked her for a prior DWI offense in September 2025. The latest arrest stems from a collision causing damage to a vehicle. Rycroft was charged with second-degree driving while intoxicated, driving with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility, and collision causing damage to a vehicle greater than or equal to $200. Tarrant County Jail records indicate that Rycroft has not yet posted bail, which was set at $9,000. She is currently in custody at the Tarrant County Corrections Center in Fort Worth. Rycroft's previous September 2025 arrest led to a guilty plea in August, where she received 20 months of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine plus additional court fees, including a "trauma fine," bringing her total financial obligation to $2,087. Following that prior arrest, Rycroft noted in an Instagram reply that she was "struggling, but trying to march forward." Her attorney, Bret Martin, declined to comment on the latest charges.
