MUMBAI - Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has completed its theatrical run in India, concluding at approximately Rs 368 crore nett at the box office. The crime thriller collected Rs 3.95 crore in its fifth and final weekend, taking its overall Indian nett total to Rs 366.45 crore, industry estimates show.
The film's fifth weekend saw collections of Rs 0.85 crore on Friday, Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday, and Rs 1.60 crore on Sunday, before Ramayana releases this weekend to claim almost all screens. The projections mark the end of Drishyam 3's box office journey in India, which had shown steady momentum since its opening.
Drishyam 3 opened with strong momentum, collecting Rs 245.50 crore net in its first week. The film maintained steady collections in subsequent weeks, with Week 2 contributing Rs 83.25 crore, Week 3 Rs 28.50 crore, and Week 4 Rs 10.75 crore. During its fifth weekend, the film added Rs 3.95 crore, bringing its cumulative India nett total to Rs 366.45 crore.
Worldwide, the film has crossed Rs 582.39 crore in gross collections after completing 30 days in cinemas. The domestic net collection stands at Rs 375.60 crore, while overseas gross earnings have reached Rs 132.55 crore, taking the worldwide total to Rs 582.39 crore.
The film's Saturday collections showed improvement, with Rs 1.60 crore collected on October 31, marking a 60 per cent increase over Friday's Rs 1 crore. According to figures compiled by industry trackers, the film had 3,030 shows across India on Saturday, with approximately 79,067 tickets sold. The Hindi 2D version recorded an overall occupancy rate of 17.36 per cent on Saturday, with morning screenings at 8.83 per cent, afternoon shows at 17.42 per cent, and evening and night screenings reaching 19.83 per cent and 20.67 per cent respectively.
Compared to its predecessor, Drishyam 3 has earned Rs 375.60 crore net in India over its first 30 days, significantly ahead of Drishyam 2, which had collected Rs 218.79 crore net at the same stage. The film's first-week India gross collection stood at Rs 294.60 crore, with collections declining gradually in subsequent weeks - Week 2 saw a 64.4 per cent decline, Week 3 a 67 per cent decline, and Week 4 added Rs 11.15 crore net.
The film's central character, Vijay Salgaonkar, portrayed by Ajay Devgn, continues to be central to the franchise's identity. The latest instalment placed the character in a new conflict driven by revenge rather than justice, with a powerful Crime Branch officer investigating and threatening to expose weaknesses in his carefully prepared alibis.
Despite the gradual decline in daily earnings from the opening week, Drishyam 3's 30-day performance indicates sustained audience interest. The film's worldwide gross of Rs 582.39 crore and domestic net of Rs 375.60 crore demonstrate the strength of its performance in the Indian theatrical market, although it falls short of the Rs 400 crore nett milestone, with industry analysts noting films either cross that threshold or stay under it.
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion will be remembered as a significant commercial success for the franchise, with cumulative ticket sales in India exceeding 1.63 crore since its theatrical release.
