Klum attended her annual Halloween party in New York City on October 31, 2024, dressed as a giant severed hand with replicas of her wedding rings. Special effects makeup artist Mike Marino, who created the costume, posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram that appeared to show items from his workspace.
Social media users identified several objects in the post that fans connected to villains in The Batman Part II. A facial cast resembling actor Brian Tyree Henry with a disfigured lip was linked to the character Two-Face. A box labeled 'Zsasz' was associated with the Batman villain Victor Zsasz, while a box labeled 'Owl 3' sparked speculation it refers to the Court of Owls.
Marino confirmed his involvement in the sequel in an October 2024 interview with W magazine, stating he was working on 'really cool makeup' for the new film. In June 2024, entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider reported that Sebastian Stan would play Zsasz and Brian Tyree Henry would portray Harvey Dent/Two-Face, though neither casting has been officially confirmed. Director Matt Reeves confirmed in May 2024 that both Henry and Stan are involved in the sequel but did not reveal which characters they would play.
Variety reported that Stan was 'set to play' Harvey Dent. Stan told the Happy Sad Confused podcast in October 2024 that the film was 'going to be great' and that the role felt 'very different' from previous work. The Batman Part II is scheduled for release on February 18, 2028, having been delayed from October 2025 due to Hollywood strikes. Production was temporarily halted last month when Matt Reeves stepped away for personal reasons, with Steven Soderbergh hired to help finish filming.
Yahoo has contracted Marino for comment on the Halloween post. None of the apparent clues have been confirmed to belong to the new movie, and there is no indication they were deliberately included as hints about the film.
